Television doctor takes a visit to the north
Yorkshire based stairlift manufacturer Acorn Stairlifts welcomed well-known breakfast TV doctor, Dr Hilary Jones, to its headquarters in Steeton last month.
Following a successful year long partnership to support the brand, Acorn marked the occasion by inviting Dr Hilary for a guided tour around the site, in between discussions and plans to continue working together.
Acorn has already worked closely with Dr Hilary to create its latest health and mobility guide, available from the Acorn website, which offers advice and guidance on the value of installing a stairlift in later life.
Jules Allen, Sales Director at Acorn Stairlifts commented: “We are so delighted Dr Hilary, with all his patient and lifestyle experience, is taking an interest in Acorn and helping us to advise and support people with mobility issues at whatever time of life.
“Dr Hilary’s expertise in healthcare will allow us to offer additional resources to our customers through our health and mobility guides and future website content.”
Dr Hilary Jones added: “It’s been great to see Acorn’s facilities and really understand how the company operates. It has completely opened my eyes, not only to the product manufacturing but also the customer service team Acorn has on hand to support customers and deal with new enquiries.
“The next year will be an exciting time for both parties and I look forward to continuing the partnership.”
