Choccywoccydoodah star heads to Wynyard Hall
The creative genius behind one of tv’s most exciting food shows is heading to the North East for a special event.
The outrageous edible creations made by Brighton-based Choccywoccydoodah have not only been enjoyed by celebrities ranging from Whoopi Goldberg to Julien Macdonald but have also seen the eccentric team become stars in their own right.
And now Christine Taylor, the woman who created the company, will be sharing her chocolate secrets at a special event at Wynyard Hall hotel on November 28.
The Blooms and Bubbly event is firmly fixed on the Wynyard calendar, with guests enjoying a glass of fizz, afternoon tea and a festive floral demonstration along with a talk by the acclaimed chocolatier.
Christine, one of the stars of the Good Food Channel’s Choccywoccydoodah show, will be sharing her chocolate secrets, including why she’s known as the queen of confectionery.
Christine’s top secret techniques for working with chocolate allows it to be moulded it as if it was plasticine and then carved. The recipe for this special modelling chocolate is so secret that staff must sign a confidentiality agreement.
Along with a shop and coffee shop in Brighton, the company recently opened its first London chocolate emporium, which also featured on their celebrated tv series.
“Choccywoccydoodah is an amazing tv show and the creations that they make are truly breathtaking,” said Allison Antonopoulos, Managing Director of Wynyard Hall.
“We are delighted to be able to host Christine at Wynyard Hall and for guests to be able to find out more at first hand about this incredible company.”
Tickets for the event –which starts at 3pm – are £35 each and available by contacting the hotel on 01740 644811or by visiting the hotel’s website at www.wynyardhall.co.uk
