Big let for Manchester city centre offices
IT services firm Kelway is relocating from Bury to Manchester city centre.
The company is taking 11,778 sq ft on the eighth floor of The Peninsula building, in the north of the city.
Other occupiers include Peninsula Business Services and Laterooms.
The letting, completed by DTZ, leaves only the seventh floor of the building empty. It is reported to be the largest grade A office letting in the city so far in 2013.
DTZ office agency director Rob Yates said: “The Peninsula is one of the best of Manchester’s recent developments.
“The quality of the accommodation, usability of floorplate and its high profile location all appeal to a number of occupiers who are finding the supply of quality accommodation in Manchester city centre limited due to the lack of new development.
“There is considerable interest in the remaining floor and we anticipate announcing a further letting in the near future. The supply of grade A accommodation offering large floor plates is becoming constrained.”
