Stobart remains unphased by retail swings
Carlisle-headquartered Stobart Group say their Transport and Distribution division has performed well despite fluctuating retail conditions.
Updating on its half year results, the Group said it was pleased that its Air division’s operations at London Southend Airport had been rated highly by Which?
The addition of a 4th easyJet aircraft at the airport has boosted Stobart EBITDA and operation cashflow.
Andrew Tinkler, chief executive of the Stobart Group, commented: “As stated in our annual results, we are now moving the business from investment phase into its value optimisation stage and we are making steady progress in this transition, in line with our four-year strategy.
“The management team is focused on delivering value to shareholders and we will continue to work on achieving the potential of each of our divisions”
