Catering & Hospitality Apprenticeship Open Event
TyneMet College have a number of employers ready and waiting to offer trainee chefs a Level 2 Apprenticeship programme.
Some of the region’s top catering and hospitality employers will be at TyneMet College for an open event that will showcase the many benefits that a hands-on Apprenticeship has to offer.
The open evening, on Wednesday 16th October, 4.30-7pm at the TyneMet College, Coast Road Campus, will be a rare chance for 16-24 year olds to find out more about what a Level 2 Catering and Hospitality Apprenticeship can offer them.
Students who dream of a career in catering can take advantage of Apprenticeships that will allow them to earn while they learn.
Would-be chefs and catering trainees can also learn more about the local businesses that might employ them and students can begin the application process at the event.
Paul Smissen, Head of Business and Commercial Development at Tyne Metropolitan College, said:
“A 12 month Apprenticeship gives young people who are career driven a fantastic start in life.
“Apprenticeships provide the opportunity to work for a real employer, earn a real salary and gain a real qualification, all whilst gaining valuable workplace skills and experience.”
