Advanced Business Solutions announces new Managing Director for Exchequer and Field Service

Advanced Business Solutions (Advanced) announces that Greg Ford has been appointed Managing Director of the Exchequer and Field Service businesses. Ford has extensive experience in providing solutions to the lower mid-market and will be looking to deliver significant year-on-year growth.

Exchequer, headquartered in Bournemouth, provides a market leading finance system, developed for small to medium sized businesses. Field Service is a leading provider of service management, CRM and accounting solutions used by the service industry.

With 28 years’ experience in UK software and services industry, Ford has a strong record of re-invigorating businesses including TAS books and Sage. Ford served as Managing Director of Sage’s mid-market division for a decade, where he was responsible for bringing Sage ERP X3 to the UK market.

More recently, Ford led the transformation of the document management and imaging software house, V1 into a company that specialises in business automation software.

Advanced Field Service is a leading provider of Service Management solutions, including Siclops and Service Director, which are used by service organisations and growing businesses to manage their operations, service engineers and maintenance technicians.

Exchequer and Field Service were acquired by Advanced Computer Software Group plc in March 2013. The two businesses form part of Advanced Business Solutions, an Advanced Computer Software company.
