Chin chin - Liverpool Gin set for city centre launch
Liverpool’s very own gin will be launched at a tasting event at Blackburne House, Hope Street, on Thursday December 12.
The ticket-only event offers guests an exclusive chance to taste Liverpool Gin in a variety of styles, including two types of tonic water combinations and as a cocktail, and to take part in a gin masterclass.
Produced at a distillery in Kirkdale, Liverpool Gin is made using the finest organic spirit available and is then macerated with pure certified organic botanicals to produce a highly distinctive final drink.
It is the brainchild of Mark Hensby, managing director of Liverpool Organic Brewery, and distiller John O’Dowd, who founded the Liverpool Distillery Ltd earlier this year following a year’s research and development.
The Blackburne House choir and magician will perform at the tasting event and guests will receive a free balloon glass to take away with them. The first 40 guests to arrive can also discover the history of gin.
Tickets cost £25 per person and can be purchased by contacting 0151 933 9660 or by visiting http://livorgbrew.eventbrite.co.uk.
