Next announces healthy results after cracker of a Christmas
Next plc, has reported fourth quarter results “significantly” beyond expectations, with total sales rising 11.9% between November 1 and December 24.
As a consequence, the company is raising its full year profit forecast (ending on January 25) to between £684 million and £700 million.
Bdaily reportedyesterday that Debenhams was one of the major disappointment this year after a below-par Christmas, whilst John Lewis proved to be a high street success.
