Two Leeds entrepreneurs launch new PR startup
Two Leeds PR professionals have joined forces to launch Content Soup, a new content and communications agency based in the city centre.
Jasmine Headley and Nina Hands will offer a multi-channel mix of content creation services, encompassing PR, social media, copywriting and experiential and launch with a strong start of seven retained clients.
The two specialists have 20 years’ experience between them and have delivered award-winning campaigns across sectors including retail, fashion, beauty, leisure and tourism, consumer electronics and construction.
Nina Hands, who has spent the past 10 years working in senior roles for high profile Yorkshire agencies, said: “To succeed now, brands have to start thinking like publishers - offering audiences interesting content they really want to share.
“Creating that special kind of content and getting it in the hands of key influencers is where we stand out, and what’s winning us business.”
Jasmine Headley, who has worked both agency and client side, added: “Blending PR, social, experiential and copywriting into compelling mixes that ignite positive reactions is our speciality, but we also deliver killer client service.
“Having been client-side, we really understand the complex needs of in-house teams, the challenges they face, and the commercial approach they expect, and act as senior advisors to make their livesas easy as possible.”
Having spent eight years agency side, Jasmine most recently spent two years working in-house for NG Bailey, the UK’s leading independent engineering, IT and facilities services business.
Nina joins from a Leeds-based communications agency where she was account director. Amongst other agency roles, she has also worked in-house at the NHS.
