The Brink provides the perfect blend for National Coffee Week
With National Coffee Week underway, The Brink is celebrating the occasion by serving an exclusive locally roasted blend to its customers.
Over the next few days, guests will be treated to a special offering of Indian Monsoon Malabar, which is perfect for early-morning breakfasts, lunches and after work pit stops.
As well as discovering the coffee’s unique fragrant aromas at the Parr Street venue, visitors with a sweet tooth can also enjoy an alternative coffee and homemade cake combo.
Events manager David Barnicle said: “National Coffee Week is the perfect excuse to tantalise your taste buds with a locally sourced fine blend. As coffee is one of the nation’s all-time favourite beverages, what better way to mark the occasion than with a variety of special coffee delights?”
In addition to the coffee fuelled festivities, numerous music events will take place over the next few days. These include guitar lessons for beginners and intermediates, the venue’s legendry open mic night and a live performance from the renowned reggae musical expressionists, Mojo Storm.
David added: “All senses will be stimulated this week, as a result of our diverse array of foodie and musical offerings. We look forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces during a jam-packed line-up of events.”
The Brink was set up in 2011 to provide a safe and supportive place for people who want to enjoy an alcohol-free atmosphere. It was also the UK’s first dry bar and restaurant.
It often hosts a variety of food, music and community orientated events and holds a strong reputation amongst the city as being a thriving social hub, which appeals to every one of all ages and backgrounds.
The National Coffee Week celebrations will take place between Monday, April 7 and Sunday, April 13. The Indian Monsoon Malabar is priced at £4 and the coffee and cake combo at £3.95.
