Airedale House Leeds secures latest beauty tenant ahead of refurb
Bridges Sustainable Property Fund has secured Sally Salon Services as the latest tenant at Airedale House, Leeds, following the announcement of a comprehensive refurbishment of the building.
Sally Salon Services, one of the UK’s leading hair and beauty suppliers, will take a 6,196 sq ft retail unit at Airedale House which comprises of 26,337 sq ft of retail space and 15,056 sq ft of office accommodation with tenants including Slater Menswear and Co-op Travel.
CBRE acted for Bridges Ventures and Marchmont Chartered Surveyors represented Sally Salon Services.
Airedale House, which was acquired for £4 million in January this year by Bridges Sustainable Property Fund, managed by fund manager Bridges Ventures, will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment.
CBRE continues to be involved at Airedale House as the firm’s Capital Markets team acquired the building, its Building Consultancy division is managing the sustainable refurbishment works and its Property Management team has also been instructed as managing agent.
Alex Whiting, senior director of Capital Markets at CBRE Leeds, said; “This recent deal demonstrates the continued appeal of the retail locations surrounding Trinity.
“The area around Albion Street is witnessing a revival with footfall dramatically increased since the opening of Trinity and the continued popularity of Trinity Kitchen.
“Bridges Ventures has identified the potential in Airedale House and the work being undertaken will transform the building into a flagship, sustainable scheme within the city’s core retail district. This is a superb location for Sally Salon Services for their new store in Leeds.”
