Sefton Park Palm House to play host to an assortment of music this July
With summer in full swing, Sefton Park Palm House is set to host an unmissable line-up of seasonal sound sensations this July.
The much adored Victorian glass house will deliver a varied array of audio attractions, which will appeal to both adults and children.
Kick starting the merriments on Thursday, 1 will be the Savoy Jazzmen, who will deliver an afternoon filled with classic summer symphonies. The event will be followed by a trio of concerts performed by Liverpool Community Choir (Sunday, 6), Liverpool Harmonic Gospel Choir (Tuesday, 8) and The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen Hospital Choir (Sunday, 13).
Director of the Palm House Moira Leonard said: “This month is jam-packed with musical events for all of the family. Whether guests prefer classical music, modern beats or sing-along fun - there really is something for everyone.”
Returning for their annual appearance, the Swing Shift Band will take to the stage on Sunday, 27. The highly-acclaimed 17 piece big band will perform a selection of specially commissioned jazz compositions throughout the day.
Finishing the series of events, is the popular Singing Our Socks Off on Tuesday, 29. Su Graigner will grace the Palms with her melodic marvels, along with the in-house choir, who will provoke audience participation.
