Paul's Hair & Beauty World wins prestigious Manchester Arndale Retailer Award
Leading hair extensions retailer Paul’s Hair & Beauty World was named as The Shop I Can’t Live Without at the first-ever Manchester Arndale Retailer Awards. Its manager, Nikki Purcell, was also recognised personally and was presented with the prestigious Service with a Smile Award on the basis of customer votes.
Customers at Pauls Hair & Beauty World have constantly said that it is a shop they could not live without and now the store has been officially recognised.
The awards focused upon the brightest businesses in Manchester and were presented at a glittering ceremony at the Football Museum.
The prizes were handed out after every shop in the Manchester Arndale Shopping Centre - the UK’s largest inner-city shopping mall - was visited by a mystery shopper and customers were asked to pick their favourite shops, restaurants and staff. More than 3,500 votes were cast to find the winners of 17 awards.
Pauls Hair and Beauty World has been specialising in hair extensions and products for more than two decades and has clients across the world. It supplies wigs and extensions, made from both synthetic and human hair, to individuals and to some of the world’s leading hair salons. The store also stocks perfumes, contact lenses, after-care products for hair extensions, nail care items, and electrical styling products. It has branches in Manchester, Glasgow and Liverpool and also trades online.
Manchester Arndale Centre director, David Allinson, said the Retailer Awards had been launched to underline the importance of the retailers and their staff to both their customers and to the centre as a whole. He said the stores and restaurants were essential to the success of the centre and added that the organisers had been thrilled with the support the prizes had received from the voting public and from the retailers themselves.
Other winners at the awards were Ann Summers, Jacamo, All Saints, Aldo, Topshop and Topman, Swarovski, Lush, The Disney Store, Game, and Poundworld.
