Stockport-based Terry’s Fabrics expand forty year portfolio by launching new retail site
After four decades within the fabric industry and soft furnishing sector, Stockport based Terry’s Fabrics is now expanding their online portfolio and in-house public relations team.
The company also has retail outlets and warehouses in the midlands, from their Staffordshire store and warehouse.
This new direction for the company comes after Paul McGuinness, owner and director of Terry’s Fabrics, made the decision to expand his business by offering a larger product range, including homeware, window blinds, beds and mattresses.
Mr McGuinness said, “For 40 years Terry’s Fabrics has been known exclusively as a fabric and soft furnishings supplier. However, we are now in an extremely strong position to offer new and pre-existing customers larger items and set pieces, for instance window blinds, mattress and bed frames.
We are therefore, making bold decisions about the expansion and growth of the company. Six months ago we decided to hire a new member of the online marketing team, as well as warehouse operations manager to oversee the order process. As of August, we have decided to hire a PR executive to develop the brand further and increase overall brand awareness of our company“.
This period of growth and expansion has also meant the launch of a new bespoke window blinds site www.terrysblinds.co.uk. This site even offers custom digital blinds, such as football shirt window blinds, with your own name printed on them.
