Yorkshire-based management training company launches programme for SME's
Aspire is opening its doors to a number of the region’s SMEs and business professionals in its ‘Stepping into Management’ programme.
The Halifax-based management training company has announced the launch of its open programme for first-line managers and supervisors of SMEs as well as other business professionals.
The ‘Stepping into Management’ open programme has been devised for companies who have expanded in recent months, growing their workforce and promoting members of staff into management roles, as the economy shows signs of recovery.
Mr Wheatly said: “Often smaller businesses and organisations promote a person because they’re good at their job but they aren’t given the training and support that is needed to step into management. Because SME’s are small in nature, they don’t have a lot of people in this situation at any one time, therefore it’s not cost-effective to commission a full in-house departmental management skills training programme.
“Traditionally, we’re appointed by a business to design and deliver training workshops with the aim of improving the skills and capability of the workforce to improve business performance in areas such as customer service, process improvement, coaching and performance management, and so we work with delegates to meet this need.
“However, through our open programmes from our office in Halifax, SMEs and other business professionals can have access to the same top-level training we deliver to large organisations across the UK. “
