Dedicated manager boosts service for Cardiff fleet customers
A Cardiff motoring company has boosted its management team by introducing a new role aimed at strengthening its service for local businesses.
Jon Armstrong has been appointed as a new business development manager at Sinclair Volkswagen Van Centre in Cardiff.
The 25-year-old, from Cardiff, will play a crucial part in the van centre’s fleet management experience.
The new role will see Jon work in partnership with fleet customers to understand their operational needs and tailor appropriate packages.
Having worked in similar roles for a vehicle rental company and a major commercial vehicle brand, Jon is well-versed in all aspects of corporate purchasing and leasing. He will now bring his expertise and knowledge of the local area.
Jon said: “I am delighted to be joining the Sinclair team and to be working with such a highly regarded brand.
“I have previously worked with many fleet operators in the Cardiff area so I am looking forward to introducing new customers to the Volkswagen range.”
Tim Gowling, Head of Business at Sinclair Van Centre said: “We continually look at ways in which we can enhance our service and understand the importance of building and growing partnerships with our fleet customers, so we are very pleased to introduce this new dedicated role.
“It will provide our customers with a single point of contact for everything they need - from initial enquiry through to purchasing and maintaining a fleet of commercial vehicles.
“Jon’s local knowledge, enthusiasm and proven track record will help to grow Sinclair’s Volkswagen commercial vehicle presence across Cardiff.”
