Putting new PR “lessons” on the business curriculum
Ilkley’s Approach PR is launching new courses from this September as part of its Approachability training programme.
The multi-award winning team has added “How to write a press release” and “How to blog” to its PR workshops as the back to school season beings in earnest this month.
Managing Director Suzanne Johns said: “Our team of experts now offers eight practical and informative workshops to help businesses kick start their own PR activity. From planning and strategy to the very hands on “how to” courses which encourage delegates to complete tasks with feedback and expert advice, Approachability sessions empower businesses to internally manage their reputation and their communications.”
She added: “Our new batch of courses are launched just as we’ve been recognised for our regional, national and digital campaigns at the CIPR PRide awards and we’re absolutely thrilled to be one of only two Yorkshire agencies shortlisted for seven accolades, including Best Use of Social Media for our work with the Ilkley Carnival. Approachability delegates can be assured they’re in very good hands!”
Approach PR’s clients include leading French kitchen manufacturer Mobalpa, Bradford-based Business Enterprise Fund, white goods manufacturer Servis and Silsden-based Advanced Actuators. Approachability half day workshops cost £65 + VAT per person for the ‘Introduction’ courses and £95 + VAT for the ‘How to’ courses.
