Hill Dickinson strengthens its Manchester property team
The Manchester office of international law firm Hill Dickinson has strengthened its property and construction team further with two new appointments, as activity and demand for market expertise increases in the North West region.
Andrew Carmichael transfers from Hill Dickinson’s Sheffield office as associate in the property team, working alongside partner, Michael Blakey on major contracts with Manchester City Council, Peel Group and Calvert Group. Carmichael has practised with the firm for five years, and brings a breadth of property and construction expertise including advising on banking initiatives.
Laura Ingram joins the Manchester property team as solicitor, to support the three partners. Bringing legal proficiency and market experience from her previous role in a London practice, Ingram will support the team’s three partners on contracts and projects with friendly society and North West investor clients. Responsibilities include advising on property development and investment opportunities, acquisitions, joint ventures and rationalising client assets.
Now a 16-strong team, the Manchester property and construction department regards itself as a leading force in the property and construction industry, with significant experience to support clients and further capitalise on regional and national initiatives.
On announcing the new team members, partner and head of Hill Dickinson’s Manchester property and construction team, Michael Blakey, said: “Our continued investment in legal property expertise demonstrates the commitment and confidence we have in the market. We welcome the two additions, Andrew and Laura, to our team, and we look forward to working with our clients in a new growth of the sector.”
