Web Developer helps growth of UK business
Gala Tent Ltd, the UK’s leading distributor of marquees is happy to announce the appointment of a new web developer, Carl Bradwell. Carl has a keen knowledge of web development and classic ASP, making him an ideal candidate for the role within this rapidly expanding business. Carl is a highly qualified member of the team, having previously worked with the Scottish government, making him more than capable of working in a high intensity and ever-changing work environment. The new appointment is perfectly timed for the company as it will increase efficiency during a period of growth within the business.
Carl will bring a new dynamic to the IT team providing both support for existing systems and development of new, innovative ideas to maintain business growth. The job is a perfect role for Carl, who lives local to Gala Tent in neighbouring village Wath-upon-Dearne.
Gala Tent’s managing director Jason Mace said, “We are happy to welcome Carl to the team, he is a very talented individual and we hope he can help with business development”
“Carl lives local to us; we try to employ local members of staff as much as possible to boost the local economy, and it helps that he’s fantastic at his job”.
The new post comes after an opening became available for a web developer due to continued growth. Carl will fill an important role in assisting the IT manager, Steve Biggs, to maintain systems that are already in place whilst making new and more efficient processes. Web development is a vital part of the business for the e-commerce site, which has a high online presence. Carl hopes to progress within the business and make a real impact on the way that web development is run. Carl said “I am excited to be working at Gala Tent; the opportunity has been great for me. I hope to improve the standard of the website for handheld users as touchscreen technology develops”.
