Persimmon Homes secures land in Bishops Itchington
One of the UK’s leading house builders has successfully secured an 11.5 acre site in the Warwickshire village of Bishops Itchington.
Persimmon Homes South Midlands purchased the development site, off Gaydon Road, after securing planning permission to build 81 much-needed new homes from Stratford-on-Avon District Council back in January 2014.
Construction of the new £13 million development, named Knightcote Grange, is already underway with plot reservations available from as early as January 2015.
Stratford-on-Avon District will also benefit from an additional planning contribution from Persimmon Homes in excess of £300,000 which will enhance local open spaces and community facilities.
Knightcote Grange has been designed to complement the surrounding area offering a range of two-bedroom semi and terraced, three-bedroom semis and four-bedroom detached properties, ideal for first time buyers and growing families alike.
Andy Peters, Managing Director at Persimmon Homes South Midlands, said: “This is an exciting development which will not only provide much needed new homes, it will also breathe additional economic life into the area and complement the existing community.
“We expect a great deal of interest in the properties considering the excellent location and I would urge buyers to register their interest on our website to receive updates and an invitation to the official launch.”
