Significant growth for Manchester recruitment agency, The Candidate
Award-winning digital marketing recruitment agency, The Candidate, has announced it has experienced significant business growth, with the introduction of two new departments and a trio of new team members.
The Manchester-based agency has launched a TV and film production division, to address the rise in the number of job opportunities in the region and a senior search and selection department, to offer an enhanced level of service to companies with senior job positions to fill. The new departments will be headed by recruitment expert and managing partner of The Candidate, Brian Matthews, who has over 14 years of recruitment experience.
The new recruits consist of three experienced recruitment consultants; including Amy-Leigh Cluskey and Rebecca Beale who will be working to place candidates into suitable roles, and Marcel Appiah who is the dedicated film and production recruitment consultant. The new appointments take the total number of staff at the Candidate to 10.
Brian Matthews, managing partner of The Candidate, commented: “The digital sector in the North West continues to grow and during the past six months we have seen a large increase in the number of TV and production job opportunities in the region. Due to this uplift we have set up a dedicated department at The Candidate, so we now have the ability to quickly find the best suited candidate for these roles. This is a rare division and means that we are able to offer a unique service to this growing sector.
“The senior search and selection department will give clients who are recruiting for senior management an enhanced and expert service from consultants who have proven experience of recruiting candidates of the highest calibre.”
There have been a number of senior roles placed already by the new department, including the head of online for leading fashion retailer, J.D Williams.
