Leeds-based Sky Betting and Gaming has won five accolades at the national eGaming Review (eGR) Operator Awards 2014, beating off tough competition.
The Sky Betting and Gaming team were presented with the prestigious Mobile operator, Affiliate programme and Mobile sports product awards, while its odds comparison site, Oddschecker.com, received the Sports affiliate and Affiliate of the year accolades.
The Leeds-based team, headed up by managing director, Richard Flint, were handed the award at the ceremony The Roundhouse in London on Monday night (24 November) by critically-acclaimed comedian and host for the evening, Ed Byrne.
Sky Betting and Gaming is one of the country’s leading betting and gaming companies. It consists of five core brands: Sky Bet, Sky Casino, Sky Vegas, Sky Poker and Sky Bingo, and also encompasses one of the UK’s leading multi-sports websites, SportingLife.com and multi award-winning odds comparison site, Oddschecker.com.
Richard Flint, managing director at Sky Betting and Gaming in Leeds, said: “We’re really pleased to have won the five eGR Operator awards, especially when we were up against some really tough competition.
“It’s been a great year for Sky Betting & Gaming and five awards is testimony to a lot of hard work from a lot of people across the business. Our focus on mobile and tablet has been the cornerstone of our success in recent years - and with an 85 per cent increase in mobile revenue last year, we love mobile just as much as our customers do.”
“Sky Betting and Gaming is an ever-changing, exciting place to work and we look forward to developing the organisation further over the next 12 months to hopefully win more awards in the near future.”
The eGR Operator Awards bring together more than 800 eGaming operators and other industry professionals to celebrate the genuine innovation and excellence achieved across the online gaming industry over the past 12 months.
