North East restoration providers open designer handbag clinic in London
A North East-based Leather restoration company have expanded to London, opening the Handbag Clinic, a new designer handbag clinic, on the Kings Road in Chelsea, London.
The Handbag Clinic first boutique has been set up by the Burnopfield-based Furniture and Handbag Clinic to transform handbags in need of TLC.
Celebrities and other designer handbag owners have already descended on the revolutionary new clinic, which has been set up to restore their couture accessories to pristine condition.
The Kings Road clinic is the first of its kind and the first foray by the established company into the high street.
Ben Staerck, Managing Director of the Handbag Clinic, said: “I am delighted to open the first Handbag Clinic on the high street.
“It will perform a vital service transforming handbags to their former glory. Working people in the North East can help the fashion budgets of those in London go further.
“We have no shortage of style and flair in the North East and we are delighted to be exporting our skills to fashionable Chelsea.”
Handbag Clinic repairs and cleans bags, adds zips, mends stitching and can completely change the colour of a bag if required. Handbag Clinic is a service created by the expert team at Furniture Clinic, a market leading company in leather repair.
Ben added: “We have already had so many people wishing us luck with the venture, which is based solidly on our existing reputation for providing a quick and efficient service to hundreds of people who have had their handbags restored to former glory.”
The team works on all types of bags from designer names such as Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Hermes and Mulberry; and every day thousands of pounds worth of bags arrive in need of restoration.
