Noble Inns to open smokehouse restaurant in Chiswick

Pub and restaurant operator, Noble Inns, is set to open Smokehouse Chiswick on the 6th April on Sutton Lane North, Chiswick.

The smokehouse and grill will take residence in a recently restored local pub offering modern and eclectic barbeque food, alongside a wide selection of craft beer and ales.

The menu will be created by executive chef Neil Rankin, who learnt his trade at Barbecoa, as head chef at Pitt Cue Co, and then later at John Salt.

Noble Inns was founded in 2008 by husband and wife team Scott & Maria Hunter, who were later joined by Simon Holroyd and executive chef, Neil Rankin.

Their pubs include The Princess of Shoreditch, a gastro-pub in the City, Pig & Butcher in Islington, which focuses on the very best of rare bread meat and fresh fish, and Smokehouse in Islington, known for its refined barbeque. Noble Inns have recently launched Bad Egg, their take on a contemporary all day Diner.

At Smokehouse Chiswick, Neil has built a dedicated smoking shed complete with an “Ole Hickory Pit Smoker” and Robata grill that will prefect his refined barbeque fare.

Neil said: “We are thrilled to be opening Smokehouse in Chiswick, bringing our robust, and gutsy barbeque cooking to the neighborhood. As soon as we saw the space, we fell in love with it, and were excited to breathe new life into this lovely old pub,”

The menu will list more than 100 varieties - from Scottish and Japanese Whisky, to Whiskey from America and Ireland.
