Luxury maternity brand Séraphine moves into Leeds’ Victoria Quarter
Séraphine, the luxury maternity brand, will open its first store outside of London in Leeds’ most lavish shopping destination, Victoria Quarter.
The 755 sq ft, which will open in the coming weeks, is going to be situated next to Bravissimo on County Arcade in the Grade II* listed Victorian building.
Séraphine, which is a known favourite with The Duchess of Cambridge, has been creating maternity wear and accessories for pre and post-natal women since 2002.
The brand’s stylish maternity collection includes all types of clothing, from casual jeans to bridal wear, as well as chic nursing wear for post-natal women.
Due to the ‘Kate effect’ as well as other influential Hollywood stars such as Jessica Alba and Gwen Stefani who often wear the brand, Séraphine has seen its sales double over the past two years.
With three stores already in London, its new store at Victoria Quarter is an integral part of the brand’s global expansion, joining its second store in New York and first in Los Angeles both also due to open this year.
Nicola Hanson, Victoria Quarter centre manager, said: “Séraphine is the perfect fit for the Victoria Quarter shopper who is looking for luxury maternity wear to make a statement whilst she’s expecting, as well as after her pregnancy.
“Alongside our other recent new addition, Cutler & Gross, Séraphine will continue to enable us to grow our luxury shopping offering. We’re looking forward to announcing further retailer developments over the coming months.”
Cecile Reinaud, Séraphine founder, said: “We are delighted to be opening in the Victoria Quarter in Leeds and we’re looking forward to joining other luxury brands and welcoming mums-to-be, new mums and their families alike to experience our maternity and nursing wear.”
