TK Maxx set to open in Cramlington creating 45 jobs
TK Maxx is set to open its new Cramlington store 11th June 2015, creating 45 jobs in the area.
The retailer, which specialises in discounted branded clothing, accessories and homeware, already has stores in Newcastle city centre, Byker and Kingston Park.
Store manager Carole Morison said: “We think that Cramlington shoppers will love having a new TK Maxx on their doorstep. With deliveries several times a week, there are always new designer finds and one-off gems to discover, all with amazing savings.”
Hammerson’s assistant director retail parks, Colin Farrow added: “TK Maxx is an iconic national brand and we are pleased to be able to bring such a popular retailer to South East Northumberland. As well as providing 45 valuable new jobs to Cramlington, the new store at Manor Walks’ Westmorland Retail Park, which is due to open in June, is perfectly placed to complement the existing retail and leisure offer and has already generated a great deal of excitement amongst shoppers.”
