Wilko relocates to former M&S store in Chester city centre
Retailer Wilko, formerly branded Wilkinson, has confirmed its plan to relocate into the former Marks and Spencer (M&S) store in Chester city centre.
The new store is likely to be open in late summer and will be twice the size of the old store in Chester.
Spokesman Peter Woodall said to the Chester Chronicle: ’We love being part of the community in Chester and have been looking for an opportunity to offer our great product range, value and choice in an even better shopping environment.
“Once we have a firm opening date we will let everyone know.’
The old M&S store has been divided into two retail units with River Island occupying the remaining space.
