Work begins on expanded premises for growing Ouseburn creative agency

Ouseburn-based creative agency Hedley McEwan is set to relocate to new offices at St Peter’s Wharf.

Hedley McEwan saw a number of client wins and further staff recruitment throughout 2014, with internal growth taking the team up to a total of 14 employees. Work has now begun on fitting out the new office premises, which promise a unique new offering for clients, set for completion by mid-July 2015.

Joint MD, Tom Hedley said: “We’re especially proud of what we’ve achieved in the four-and-a-half years we’ve been in business and whilst we’ve loved being at the iconic Toffee Factory, we feel the time is now right to invest in our own, ‘purpose designed’, offices.

“We always preach the importance of inspirational working environments to our clients and contacts, and we’ve tried wherever possible to ‘walk that walk’ ourselves.

“Our current offices at Toffee Factory hopefully bear testament to our belief in only ever asking your team to work in a place they actually look forward to going in to and feel proud to work, and create a space where your clients love to visit.”

Joint MD, Duncan McEwan, added: “This is a huge investment for us but we absolutely believe creative people need creative workspaces, spaces in which they feel inspired to generate ‘big ideas’.

“St Peter’s Marina provides what we think is one of the most unique and stimulating office settings in the region. We’re going to do all we can to make it the best working space possible for our team and of course our clients.”
