Parties silent over speculated Manchester United acquisition of Class of '92 hotel
Reports are circulating that Manchester United are interested in acquiring Hotel Football, the recently opened football-themed hotel, adjacent to Old Trafford.
The brainchild of former United ’Class of ‘92’ players, Ryan Giggs, Gary and Phil Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt, the hotel is rumoured to be attracting interest from the Old Trafford hierarchy, despite initially distancing themselves from the project.
However, despite mounting speculation, both parties declined to comment directly with Manchester United only releasing a brief statement.
United’s press office said: “It’s just the normal (sic) that we don’t comment on speculation in the media.”
