Liverpool ONE’s YO! Sushi reveals ‘spectacular’ redesign
Sushi cafe chain YO! Sushi unveiled a new urban design recently for its restaurant in Liverpool ONE, creating a “spectacular” look for visitors, according to the director of portfolio management at Grosvenor Fund Management.
Inspired by the neon lights that characterise the centre of Tokyo, the revamped look was created by Alison Cooper of West Yorkshire-based InnSight Design and features a backdrop of the Japanese capital city’s skyline.
Grosvenor Fund Management’s Miles Dunnett, commented: “We are delighted YO! Sushi selected Liverpool ONE to unveil its new restaurant look. The decision reflects the success of the brand in Liverpool ONE, and has created something quite spectacular for visitors.
“It is another great addition to our thriving leisure offer.”
The refurbishment has seen new lighting and LED screens installed at the restaurant, which is located next to the Odeon cinema in the Terrace area of Liverpool ONE. Along with new seating, the work included fresh upholstery and additional technology to complement the Japanese theme.
YO! Sushi’s CEO, Vanessa Hall, said: “Liverpool ONE has long been one of the strongest performing YO! Sushis in the UK, and was therefore the ideal venue in which to launch our exciting new concept.”
The demand for dining opportunities at Liverpool ONE is rising, according to the latest figures, with catering sales up by 11%.
