PEP&CO arrives in Sunderland creating 12 jobs
Sunderland’s The Bridges will welcome a new clothing and lifestyle brand next month.
PEP&CO will be creating 12 jobs at its Sunderland store as part of nationwide plans to open 50 new locations this year.
The retailer, which specialises in discount clothing and homeware, announced plans to open 50 new stores in eight weeks earlier this summer.
Backed by £20m investment from the South African retail expert Christo Wiese, who recently bought the New Look chain, PEP&CO will open its new Sunderland store on 1st September.
The brand is also searching for a local mum to be the face of its Sunderland shop. Louise Baxter, store manager at PEP&CO Sunderland, said: “We think that mums deserve their moment in the spotlight, so we’re looking for an amazing, local mum to launch our brand new store and be the first to try out our fantastic value fashion range.”
Those interested in becoming the face of PEP&CO in Sunderland should email why they should be the Face of PEP, a photograph, name, address and contact details to faceofpep@havasww.com stating ‘Sunderland’ in the subject title.
The deadline for entries is Monday 24 August.
