Xercise4Less’ £1m investment in Rugby budget gym creates 40 jobs
Yorkshire-based budget gym operator, Xercise4Less, is set to expand its portfolio across the West Midlands, with the opening of a new £1m state-of-the-art site in the centre of Rugby.
Scheduled to open in December, the new gym will be the fifth Xercise4Less gym to open in the West Midlands in just over two years, bringing the chain’s total investment across the region to £5m.
The Warwickshire gym, which will cover 29,300 sq ft, will also create 40 new jobs for the Rugby community.
Jon Wright, Xercise4Less chief executive officer, said: “The West Midlands provides us with great expansion opportunities as demand for affordable fitness continues to increase. We recently launched a new club in Stoke and already have clubs in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Wolverhampton and Dudley which have all been extremely well received and I have no doubt that Rugby will be just as successful.”
The Newbold Road club will boast a number of trademark fitness zones including cardio, free weights, combat and a ladies only area, plus a large fitness studio that will feature over 40 free classes per week.
Xercise4Less now boasts 32 clubs across the UK with 225,000 members and is set to launch up to 30 more clubs by the end of the year.
The chain operates across the UK in regions including the North East, Yorkshire, North West and the Midlands.
