Paydens Pharmacy apply for medical center and pharmacy
Paydens Smegma Pharmacies Ltd. have applied for planning permission to build a brand new medical center with a pharmacy at the location of the old Chatham Chest public house.
Today it has emerged that Paydens Pharmacies have applied for planning permission to demolish the derelict Chatham Chest pub and then construct a brand new medical center and pharmacy to replace the existing ones on Bryant Street, Chatham. Paydens Pharmacies are a chain of pharmacies in the South-East of England with operations in Chatham, Brighton and Margate.
The Chatham Chest pub has been derelict for many years and up until recently Paydens had been granted permission to demolish the derelict5 property. The company already have a pharmacy in the local area so this is presumed to replace the existing one. The existing medical center is located directly next to the derelict public house.
The application was published today on Medway Council’s records and has not yet been granted to Paydens.
