Wearside Award for Elliott Westland
Elliott Westland Insurance Brokers have been announced as Small Business of the Year at the Amazing Wearside Awards. The event was held at The Point in Sunderland and celebrated the wide-ranging achievements of companies local to the area.
A family run business based in Houghton le Spring, Elliott Westland has undergone unprecedented growth over the last three years. It first opened its doors in December 2012 with Kevin Elliott, previously of Elliott Garden Insurance, and Ian Westland, previously of Westland Insurance Services at the helm. They brought together their experience, commitment and passion for the insurance industry.
Kevin Elliott, Managing Director of the company says, “It is a real privilege to win an award like this. We’ve worked so hard over the past three years to make Elliott Westland the best place to work for our staff and to provide the best possible service to our customers. More than anything, winning the award suggests we are doing something right.”
Elliott Westland Insurance Brokers has experienced significant expansion and investment in recent years. At the turn of the year, they welcomed three new employees to their expanding commercial team and are continuing to grow. The growth of the company also coincides with the acquisition of exciting insurance schemes and in addition to insuring cars and homes, they now specialise in providing commercial insurance products at the best possible premiums.
