New Cheshunt Marriott Chef Cooks Up a Storm
Cheshunt Marriott Hotel in Hertfordshire has appointed a new head chef to build on the property’s already sterling reputation for good cuisine.
Noel Busby, who was inspired to cook by his mother throughout his childhood, has built an impressive CV over the last two decades. Having trained with Forte Hotels after leaving school, Noel climbed the ranks and joins Cheshunt Marriott Hotel from sister hotel, Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club.
Using his wealth of experience, Noel aims to bring a new style of cuisine to the hotel’s restaurant with the launch of a new menu, due to be revealed in a few weeks, which will see a move from traditional fare to more deli and smoke-style dishes.
Talking about his new role, Noel said: “Cheshunt Marriott Hotel is the perfect place for me to showcase my skills and use my industry knowledge to deliver the best possible banqueting and dining experience for our guests.
“I’m keen to use my extensive culinary knowledge to deliver first-hand support to the food and beverage team, making Cheshunt Marriott Hotel the first choice in the area for quality cuisine.”
General Manager, Russell Prior, said: “Noel has undoubtedly made a valuable addition to the team at the hotel, bringing with him a wealth of experience that will prove extremely important in driving our food and beverage offering. His passion for food and drink is evident and I have no doubt that he will bring that same level of dedication to his new role.”
