Liverpool eatery Bretta&Co expands with new e-commerce site
Bretta&Co, a bistro and deli in the centre of Liverpool, is hoping to boost sales with the launch of a new digital shop.
The new site, brettaandco.com, will stock 500 food and drink products, including the Lichtenstein brand of wines, Maxwells chocolates and local beekeeper Andrew Hubbard’s Postcode Honey.
Gary Adlen, the co-owner of Bretta & Co, said: “We already offer a large deli selection at the bistro, so brettaandco.com is a natural evolution for us and a real step forward for the deli side of the business.
“The essence of the site is to offer more to our deli customers and provide them with delicious products to explore.”
He added: “Without the restraints of a bricks and mortar shop, we’ve been able to offer even more specialist products and grow our product range.”
The e-commerce site launch follows a period of growth that saw the company branch out into event hosting and appoint Stephanie Peckham as its new restaurant manager.
We previously spoke to Gary Adlen about the firm’s first year, the inspiration behind the brand and what it’s like to run a city centre business. Read the interview here.
