Luxury menswear brand Hackett to open at Victoria Gate
British menswear brand, Hackett, is set to open a flagship store at the £165m Victoria Gate development next year.
The retailer will take a 3,272 sq ft store split across two floors, joining an already strong line-up of aspirational retail brands at Victoria Gate, including Anthropologie, Cos, & Other Stories, The White Company and Maje, complemented by fine dining from international restaurant group, D&D.
Marking its arrival in Leeds, the concept for its flagship store of the North will be similar to that of its Regent Street store in London.
Following Victoria Gate’s launch next year, the new 575, 000 sq ft Victoria Estate, which encompasses the adjacent Victoria Quarter.
Robin Dobson, Director Retail Development at Hammerson, said: “Securing Hackett, the renowned luxury British retailer, and giving it its debut in Leeds, is testament to the unique retail environment we are creating at Victoria Gate.
“By providing a best in class trading platform for premium, aspirational retailers, we are enabling them to get a foothold in a city that is fast becoming a world class retail, dining and leisure destination.”
