Shackletons Recognise Social Care Excellence
Shackletons help mark social care excellence during the 13th Anniversary Year of the prestigious Wales Care Awards 2015 at Cardiff City Hall.
Sponsoring the ‘Excellence in Learning Disability & Mental Health Services Award’, a special mention goes to the winners: Gold Alexander Smith, Life Long Learning 4 Living, Rhosllanerchrugog, Wrexham, Silver Carys Pritchard, Abacare Ltd, Bangor, and Bronze Laura Haysham, Orbis Education & Care Ltd, Cardiff.
Martyn Higgins, managing director of Shackletons says: “We were eager to recognize the remarkable contribution made by the social care workforce in Wales to the health and wellbeing of the people of Wales. It was an pleasure to be part of such a worthwhile event.”
Guests from over 100 representative organisations from the public, voluntary and private sectors took part in the event that was attended by 480 individuals, including the 53 nominees who reached the final shortlist.
Shackletons have been in the business of creating comfort for over 50 years and are the UK’s leading design and manufacturer of specialist contract furniture for the healthcare sector.
