Manchester United announce multi-year deal with isotonic drink brand
Manchester United have teamed up with Indonesian isotonic drink YOU.C1000 Lemon and Orange Water to bring the Reds brand closer to Southeast Asian fans.
The multi-year deal will see United working with YOU.C1000 to target the club’s 54.5m supporters in Indonesia with promotions, events and competitions.
As part of the agreement, United’s crest and images of first-team players will feature on bottles of YOU.C1000.
Richard Arnold, the club’s group managing director, said: “Indonesia is home to some of Manchester United’s most passionate fans. We are delighted to be able to connect with them further through our partnership with YOU.C1000.”
To kick off the partnership, YOU.C1000 will launch ‘We Are United’, a competition through which fans can win signed merchandise and the opportunity to see the Reds play at Old Trafford.
Alaric Djojonegoro, president director of YOU.C1000, commented: “Through our partnership, YOU.C1000 is excited to introduce the Manchester United fan base to our unique isotonic drink.
“Football represents an important platform for YOU.C1000 and we believe by partnering with the world’s most iconic football club, we will provide exciting opportunities for Indonesians that will bring them closer to the club they love so much.”
