Yorkshire County Cricket Club signs extension to Mazars partnership
The Yorkshire County Cricket Club and accountancy firm Mazars have agreed to a one-year extension for Mazars to be the Club’s principal partner.
As part of the deal, there is also an option for an additional year that would take the partnership into 2018.
Mazars has been the official principal partner at Headingley since 2014 and will continue to use this partnership to further develop and strengthen the firm’s brand awareness across its core markets in the UK.
This includes Mazars’ brand appearing on Yorkshire’s four-day, one-day and T20 shirts and training wear.
Andy Dawson, Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s commercial director, said: “We are delighted that Mazars will be extending their partnership with the Club.
“We have established a close friendship with their Partners and team and they have become very much a part of the Yorkshire Cricket family. The sign of a successful partnership is longevity and therefore we are very proud that we have the opportunity to build on the progress we have made to date for at least another year.”
Phil Verity, Mazars’ UK senior partner, added: “We’re extremely proud to continue as Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s principal partner.
“It has been a real pleasure to share in the Club’s outstanding success over the last few years – it has provided our staff, clients and contacts with a sense of pride and excitement. Mazars’ own performance over the same period has been very strong.
“This year we celebrated double-digit income growth of 14%.The partnership is a great fit in terms of our business culture and our common commitment to building a reputation for excellence, nationally and internationally, thanks to a quality team.”
