Week2Week gain back2back accreditation
A north east based serviced apartment provider is celebrating after gaining a nationally recognised award for the second year running.
Week2week Apartments, which has its head office in Newcastle, has qualified to carry the Association of Serviced Apartments’ (ASAP) Quality Marque for a second straight year after rigorous testing showed them to be of a standard equivalent to a four-star hotel.
It means the Marque, which has recently been extended globally, will continue to apply to Week2Week’s range of apartments across the region.
Week2Week’s director, Claire Parry says the accreditation is just rewards for the company, who were set up in 2000.
“I’m thrilled. There was never any doubt in my mind that our apartments would pass with flying colours.
“Everyone at Week2Week takes care of each of our apartments as if it was their own home so they are always clean and well maintained as well as providing an alternative to the usual hotel rooms for business trips and leisure trips.”
A requirement as part of membership to the Apartment Service (TAS) Alliance, the ASAP Marque’s assessment rates safety and quality standards and is carried out by the same group who rate hotels. It takes into consideration the running of the business as a whole, overall cleanliness and even the quality of laundry and linen used.
Claire says it’s not just a one off. “Our apartments are kept to a very high standard all year round by our amazing team.
“It’s not something we have done knowing that they are coming to carry out an assessment.
Week2Week has apartments throughout the north east including the Newcastle and Gateshead Quays, Tynemouth and St Peter’s Basin but can also offer an international service, if required.
