Victorious Vikki!
Vikki Ingram, Logistics Administrator at Macclesfield-based Direct Food Ingredients has been recognised for her artistic and strategic insight in a company-wide challenge to create the new marketing slogan for product packaging and marketing materials.
In coining the phrase “Quality is Our Main Ingredient” Vikki secured herself a cash prize as the employee who best encapsulated the company values within a single phrase. The slogan will now go into production for all to see.
An employee poll chose the winning phase, and in choosing Vikki’s entry the vote was pretty much unanimous for her slogan, ‘Quality is Our Main Ingredient’.
Steve Loake Managing Director of Direct Food Ingredients comments: “Quality underpins everything we do - from our rigorous sourcing policies to our unparalleled level of customer service, we ensure quality and consistency of delivery with every order. We have worked hard to become accredited by the most stringent of industry bodies. This is testament to our QA procedures and meticulously monitored supply chain which sees us regularly visit our factories overseas as part of our comprehensive audit trail.”
Winner Vikki says: “It was a lovely surprise to find out my slogan had won the challenge. I feel very honoured that my phrase will now adorn the new packaging. At the firm we are very proud of our unique quality proposition and I am thrilled I have been able to help in communicating this core value going forward!”
Direct Food Ingredients’ head office is located on Waters Green in the centre of Macclesfield (Cheshire, England). The business is an established leader in the importation, storage and distribution of functional foods, nutritional and sports ingredients as well as vitamin and mineral premixes.
