New Liverpool pizzeria Santa Maluco to open this week
The minds behind a number of the most popular bars in Liverpool are preparing to open their latest venue in the city’s commercial district this week.
Leisure operator Graffiti Spirits is launching the new Castle Street pizzeria Santa Maluco, adding to a growing portfolio that already includes city centre haunts Santa Chupitos, Salt Dog Slims, El Bandito, 81 Ltd and Slim’s Pork Chop Express.
Discussing Graffiti Spirits’ newest venture, director Matthew Farrell said guests can expect a touch of Brazilian Rodizio at the Neapolitan pizza joint.
He commented: “The Rodizio bit is the social way in which the food is served…waiters roaming the floor with pieces you can buy by the slice.
“The pizzas are 100% 20 inch Southern Italian, thin crust wood-fired beauties!”
He added: “We also know from feedback amongst our target audience that the business district is crying out for what we’ve been offering guests on the L1 circuit.”
Santa Maluco will officially launch this Wednesday (July 13).
