Blink and you'll miss it, iconic Californian burger chain coming to Camden

Cult burger brand In n Out Burger is opening a pop-up shop on Finchley Road, Camden this this week for four hours only.

Burger fans in the capital will be able to be able to sample the American restaurant chain’s no-frills range of hamburgers, cheeseburgers and fries at Brazilian Steakhouse, Estancia Brasil, between 11am and 3pm on Wednesday.

The flying visit of one of the most revered burger brands in the US, which has a history dating back to 1948, follows a similarly fleeting appearance in Hendon back in 2012.

Speaking to the Camden New Journal, which carried a low-key advert promoting the pop-up last week, Estancia Brasil’s owner Roberto Trevisan commented that the events company behind the event had warned that the pop-up publicity stunt would see crowds descending on the restaurant.

He said: “I know it’s an American company who are going to do some type of, well, American food. I have no idea which one.

“They said they could get a lot of people in here. I know they’ll be a lot of people around, that’s what they told me. But they will do everything, security, the newspaper [advert], everything.”

While the burger chain does not have plans for international expansion it has used similar time-limited pop-up events in Sydney and Taiwan in recent years to raise awareness of the brand outside of America.
