Maple Syrup Media acquires new Sheffield home for Quidco
Maple Syrup Media (MSM) group, Europe’s cashback and rewards network, is continuing to expand the UK based consumer business Quidco with a brand new premises in Sheffield.
Quidco, the cashback platform, was co-founded by Paul and Jennifer Nikkel in 2005 whilst they were studying at the University of Sheffield.
Alongside this new customer and marketing hub, Quidco als operates a London office on the Silicon Roundabout in Shoreditch.
With support from the Sheffield office of Knight Frank, MSM has taken an 8,750 sq ft first floor office at Fountain Precinct in the city.
Dominic Butterell, customer services director, said: “MSM has has grown rapidly over the last few years. We looked back to our Yorkshire roots for our new, bigger premises as it is such a high-value location that is fantastic value for money.
“Fountain Precinct offers spacious, contemporary, high specification accommodation that would be on the wish list for any business of our size. It is ideally situated within the heart of Sheffield city centre close to its main retail and business core.”

“Sheffield’s Fountain Precinct on Balm Green provided this, along with a quality and cost effective staffing solution.”
Quidco was created in 2005 with the initial objective of creating a community for helping students save money shopping online. The UK core business and its website now serves close to seven million members, working with 4,300 high street names and in e-commerce.
Maple Syrup Media, Quidco’s holding group, also has cashback and loyalty platforms in Germany and France as well as a specialist UK travel solution, Earnaway.
