New dining brand Antipodea to launch at The Old Post Office in Kew

The minds behind the independently owned Brew Cafe brand are opening a new all-day dining venue in the coming weeks.

The firm’s new venture, Antipodea, will be based in The Old Post Office near Kew Station and comprise 80-covers.

Joining the five existing Brew Cafe sites in Wimbledon, Putney, Clapham, Chiswick and Wandsworth, Antipodea will operate as a brasserie in the day and covert into a bustling night-time dining spot in the evening, serving pizzas, daily bakes, robata grill dishes and seasonal specials.

Further, the new eatery will feature a retail area offering Brew’s made-in-house produce delivered directly from its bakery and butchery HQ, including brioche, seeded loaves and meats such as bacon, ham and chorizo.

London-based commercial real estate firm Restaurant Property advised on the sale of the 1,073 sq ft site on Station Approach.
