Curvy fashion retailer launches at Wakefield’s Ridings Shopping Centre
Yours, the plus size fashion clothing retailer, has opened a new store inside The Ridings Shopping Centre in Wakefield, creating six new jobs.
The retail chain is now open for business in a store on the middle mall, offering evening and daywear outfits in sizes 16 to 36.
Resh Dorka, managing director of Yours, said: “We are excited to have opened a brand new store at The Ridings.
“To be able to bring the Yours Clothing brand to consumers in Wakefield, by offering the latest fashions for exceptional prices, has been our promise to our customers. We want our customers to have a unique and enjoyable shopping experience.”
Eileen Holroyd, centre manager for The Ridings, commented: “We’re thrilled to see Yours open its doors within The Ridings, and to offer our shoppers something completely new.
“It’s certainly a welcomed addition the city’s fashion offering and we have no doubt that the new retailer will be a big draw for shoppers, giving them another great reason to visit the centre.”
The Ridings has been positioned at the centre of Wakefield for over 30 years.
Housing a mix of retailers, from independents such as Created in Yorkshire, Feather’s Confectionery and Artworld, The Ridings’ also features key anchor stores including TK Maxx, M&S and the newly refurbished Primark.
