Xercise4Less has opened its second largest UK gym in Leeds
The new Xercise4Less Leeds North gym has opened today (Friday) making it the largest gym space in Leeds and the second largest gym across the gym brand’s entire estate.
Located in Seacroft, the 40,000 sq ft space was officially opened by local boxer Qias Ashfaq, along with Operations Director for the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, Bob Bowman, who both participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony.
The gym’s grand opening was followed by an open training session and Q&A with professional boxer, and current Commonwealth light-heavyweight champion Bob Ajisafe.
Following the grand opening, General manager, Matthew Williamson commented: “We’re incredibly excited to finally open our doors to the public, and what better way to do so than to have Rio Olympian Qais Ashfaq cut the ribbon!
“As our biggest ever site, it is incredibly exciting for us, and we hope to continue to expand the opportunities we provide for more people to lead healthy, active lifestyles.”
The new Leeds facility features over 400 pieces of fitness kit, along with a dedicated combat zone that includes an MMA cage, boxing ring and punch bags, and a 100m sprint track.
It also features a separate self-contained Ladies-only gym and studios.
Founded in 2011, the Leeds-headquartered company now has 44 gyms spread across the UK and claims to have over 300,000 members on its books.
