The Botanist officially opens in York city centre site
The Botanist has officially opened on Stonegate in York today (Monday 21st), bringing 60 new jobs to the city.
Operated by New World Trading Company (NWTC), the new 5,000 sq ft site venue marks The Botanist’s 11th location to date.
The pub brand portfolio also operates venues across Manchester, Chester, Alderley Edge, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Marlow, Farnham, Knutsford and Sheffield.
The Botanist has dining capacity for over 100 people and NWTC believe it will add to York’s already thriving food and drink scene.
Ciara McAppleton McDaid, general manager of The Botanist, commented: “After lots of hard work over the past few months it was a very proud moment to officially open the doors in York this morning.
“The opening follows The Botanist Sheffield launch last month which has already been a huge hit so far with some really positive feedback, and so I hope York is just as successful.”
The York site will be open from 10am – 12am, serving brunch, lunch and dinner with starters priced from £4.95, mains from £9.95 and cocktails from £7.95.
