London's LEON continues UK expansion with new Oxford outlet
Natural fast food chain LEON is to open its most ‘family-friendly’ restaurant at Oxford’s Cornmarket.
Spread over two floors, the 130-seat outlet will include a dedicated play area, children’s library and buggy park, and the store will also debut a new bespoke recycling station for customers.
The chain’s green credentials will be furthered demonstrated by a specially designed paper cut by artist Helen Musselwhite, which will exhibit the journey of the beans used in LEON’s coffee.
John Vincent, Chief Executive Officer of LEON said that the new site would be one of the chain’s biggest and ‘most family-friendly’.
He commented: “At LEON we make naturally fast food that tastes good, does you good and is kind to the planet. We’re fast food, but fast food in heaven.
“Oxford is a city where you study, work and play hard. We want to be there where and when you need us so you can get on with all of that. And we’ll get on with loading the dishwasher.”
LEON is currently undergoing significant expansion across the UK following the confirmation of a £19m funding deal with OakNorth in August.
The chain is currently planning to open 50 stores across the country in the next four years, creating 1,000 new jobs.
